At St Clare’s College, we foster the strengths of each student and encourage them to be confident young women who are critical in their thoughts, socially conscious of their actions, and respectful in their relationships.

We value student voice and aspire to nurture independent and resilient young women. We foster the strengths of each student’s voice by providing platforms for them to combine their faith, learning, and wellbeing.

At the college, our Year 12 student leadership team consists of our college captain who leads our community alongside vice-captains and prefects. Our leadership program is broken into Ortolana, leadership based on our faith and charism, Aneska, leadership based on wellbeing and the community, and Bonaventure, leadership centred around lifelong learning. We believe that a balance between these three areas and student representation from Years 7-12 underpin meaningful social impact and generate a strong sense of community spirit.

Students also have the opportunity to gain leadership skills through a variety of programs including our Student Representative Council and our House Mates programs. Our students also regularly interact with students across year groups and within the local community to share ideas to improve and inspire positive change. These connections are centered around service and genuine human encounters which aim to shape our students into confident and independent young women who lead, inspire and challenge social and academic excellence in all that they do.
